“Someone once told me, ‘if you love what you do, you
won’t work a day in your life,’” 23-year-old San
Diego, California resident Suha Chloe Hemmat, aka CHLOE
VIXEN, recalls. “I truly believe that.”
And indeed, Chloe loves everything that she does.
Chloe,
who was born in Bahrain (it's like a miniature version of Dubai,
in the middle east) and is 75% Persian (she also has Arabic roots),
moved to to L.A. with her family when she was 5 years old. When
she graduated high school, Chloe spearheaded her own production
and entertainment company, appropriately named Vixen, Inc. She currently
works as a promotions and marketing host with best friend Nicolette
at Red Circle Lounge in San Diego’s notorious party hub, the
Gaslamp District, and also serves as a VIP table waitress at Jade
Theatre, a nightclub and restaurant in downtown San Diego.
Additionally,
she is putting the finishing touches on a new clothing line “Tainted
Entourage,” and finds time to model and serve as a free-lance
VJ, or video host. “Promotions and marketing are a passion
of mine, and I’m truly in love fashion, style and image,”
Chloe explains. “It’s not only about the fashion; it’s
the whole atmosphere and environment of the fashion industry that
drives me crazy. Tainted Entourage will not only be a clothing line,
but a lifestyle! I can’t wait to see my ideas come into reality,
and I'm very much looking forward to the world of Tainted Entourage.”
Chloe’s
short term goals are to manage a lounge/nightclub and run a successful
fashion line. In the long run, she hopes to one day own a boutique
and a lounge, as well as having her fashion line become world-renowned.
With
so many jobs and endeavors, it’s hard to imagine Chloe having
any hobbies. But, in fact, she considers everything she does a hobby,
because, as she explains, “It feels so good when you love
what you and you wake every morning and look forward to your day.”
“As
you can see, I'm a very busy individual and I like to keep it that
way,” Chloe exclaims. “Downtime gives me anxiety and
drives me crazy. For now, this is my life and I love it…I
work hard and play hard.”
And
when she does play hard, who's her favorite Persian singer to dance
to? "Arash,
of course," Chloe reveals. "He's the best!"
